Party for a Cure - 01/30/2010 - Hope for Heather, Ovarian Cancer CNY and The Castaway's Riverside Restaurant of Brewerton, NY present and afternoon of great music, dancing, food, raffle baskets and the ultimate 50/50 cash drawing. A day of fun and entertainment for a great cause: funding a cure for ovarian cancer. This event is in loving memory of Richard Paetow who lost his life to cancer. Hope for Heather Supports Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
11 /02/09 NY, NY - November 2, 2009, Hope for Heather.org presents OCRF with a check for $5,000. Hope for Heather.org hosted fund raising and educational events in 2009 to raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer in central NY.
"This check will be used for an Ovarian Cancer Research grant. We hope this money combined with similar amounts raised by similar groups around the country can make a difference in the war against this deadly disease," Indicates Frieda Weeks president of Hope for Heather.org.

8/26/09 Solvay, NY - Hope for Heather is hosting an educational event at the New York State Fair August 27 thru September 7, 2009. Their Ovarian Cancer Awareness booth is located in the Art & Home Center building across from the entrance of the Empire Theatre. Over 900 thousand people are expected to pass through the gates this year. "This is a great opportunity to inform women of all ages about the key symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and that this is not a disease that strikes only older women." states Frieda Weeks president of Hope for Heather.org.
